Hi, I'm Seth Bame. I run the operating side of Savoy Companies.
Savoy is a vertically integrated multifamily platform in Dallas: we develop, build, own and manage apartments across Texas. As Co-CEO I own execution, which means property management performance, construction, budgets, hiring and the systems the whole company runs on. My partner Barrett Linburg runs capital and growth.
I did not come from this industry. I bought my first building, 24 units in Dallas, in 2011 and did every job in it myself for two and a half years. Most of what I write here is what I learned between that building and roughly 8,000 units.
